i happened into this little fishing village when i found the gate open at the top of the hill off the viking trail not too far from western brook pond – it seemed deserted on this day. this is the first photograph i took before i started looking for someone, anyone, in the village. after a cursory glance around and knocking on a few doors (to no avail) i did meet one thomas gilley who arrived after me. he gave me a brief history of the village and its name: gull marsh. after chatting for a bit, he gave me permission to photograph at my leisure… thanks thomas, if you ever stumble upon my work (i did leave him a business card), i hope you see this shot. šŸ˜‰

this photograph can be found in the following gallery: miscellaneous and still life
