the invisible eclipse moon

alas, the much-ballyhooed lunar eclipse of July 27, 2018 was not visible to north americans. however, on the very early morning of the 28th, the gorgeous full moon, after the eclipse, was making its way to the horizon in the western skies. from my home in st. catharines, ontario, i have a western exposure and can usually see the moon in the early morning… this one was special as it was a copper or orange colour on a clear, dark blue morning sky. photographed with my 150mm-600mm lens and then interpolated to enlarge for printing, i am rather happy with this one! 😉
