Yucca In The Fog

the coastal drive was still very foggy by the time i reached julia pfeffer burns state park, home of mcway falls: the 80 foot tower falls that apparently flow year round as mcway creek cascades onto the sandy cove below.

it was still early (around 7:30am) and as one might expect, the place was deserted… i made my way onto the waterfall overlook trail and looked for a good vantage point to shoot the scene from. spotting the (yellow) yucca flowers, i knew i wanted to include them in the frame…

Late Afternoon At Roadside

heading west on the northside road of tobago, you eventually come upon the village of castara, followed by one of tobago’s finest beaches: englishman’s bay. just before reaching that beach, however, this scene greets you. though it is an unmarked cove, i believe locals refer to it as little englishman’s bay. now, through my two visits to tobago, i have photographed this scene multiple times, with little to show for it. on this day, however, i captured something i was satisfied with. again, because of the time of day, it afforded me a longer shutter time…

main street south in rocky harbour deadend’s at the coast. this morning happened to be rather drizzly and unsettled, but a spectacular view was to be had once the clouds and fog started to break up and shift around. thankfully i was there to capture it… 😉
