ride over the whirlpool

Ride Over The Whirlpoolthe whirlpool aero car is an attraction on the canadian side of the niagara river. the cable car rides for about 1 kilometer above the niagara gorge at the naturally-occurring whirlpool (because of the change in the river’s direction). here is the suspended antique cable car photographed in the area’s autumn splendour!

a piece of the trail

A Piece Of The Trail

after a full day of driving on ‘the rock’ and a few stops along the way, my destination for day 3 was almost upon me. i started out on the east coast in st. john’s and arrived at rocky harbour on the west coast precisely 12 hours later…

this piece of road is just after the gros morne national park southern entrance on the viking trail (highway 430) just after wiltondale, nl. always on the lookout for a captivating road scene, this one hit the spot after all that driving! the west coast of newfoundland is absolutely spectacular and this capture was a lovely gift…

along the forest road

Along The Forest Road

the road up to fort george winds through a residential neighbourhood before continuing into the forested hills high above port of spain. along this narrow, winding road, this lovely scene was captured on my way back from the fort.
